THE 2013 VINTAGE
The spring was very rainy and colder than other years. The flowering was late two weeks and was irregular due to the rains and low temperatures. During the summer, the irregular temperatures did that the vintage was late three weeks with regard to normal years. Nevertheless, these conditions helped to that the ripeness was developing slowly giving a fruit of very good quality.
Cherry-red color very deep with purplish edge. Great aromatic intensity, with dominant characteristic of red fruits like raspberry and cherry, floral, spicy and mineral notes, vanilla and a present but elegant wood. In mouth it is powerful, concentrated, structured but fresh at the same time, with mature and sweet tannins. In retronasal is long and persistent. It is an expressive and elegant wine.
